Pride
"Any Sailor who may be asked what he did to make his
life worthwhile, can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction, I served in the United States Navy."
John F. Kennedy
Aboard the USS Oriskany 6 June, 1963
Definition of a Veteran
A Veteran is someone who, at one point in one's life, wrote
a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including
my life." That is Honor, and there are way too Many people in this country who no longer understand it.
