† Award #2 - USS Rainier AE-5 - Special 'Big E' Memorial Link to the USS Mt. Hood disaster

† Award #3 - USS Pringle DD-477 - On April 16th 1945, this Historic Destroyer, while patrolling Radar Picket Station #14, was sunk by a Japanese Kamikaze suicide plane near Okinawa at 27 deg 26 min N, 126 deg 59 min E. Six minutes later, 258 survivors watched the USS Pringle slide beneath the surface. Sixty nine men were killed and seventy were wounded. Over a two year period, the PRINGLE was awarded Ten (10) Battle Stars for service in WWII, and the Yeoman believes this Ship and her Association Website deserves the Special Memorial Websote Honor Banner!

Read their incredible story at this Note-worthy Site, where this Squadron exprienced many casualties during the Vietnam War, which consequently won them this Website's Special Memorial Status.

Indianapolis CA-35 Association - The Association Website created to remember the men both living and dead who struggled aboard one of the greatest Naval Warships and a Memorial to the Ship which made history in one of the worse Naval Sea Disasters in Naval History which will never be forgotten.

The "Indy Maru" went down just after midnight, 30 July 1945 after being struck by Japanese Torpedoes. She was cruising in 'relative safe' waters after delivering the two Atom Bombs slated for delivery to the Japanese homeland.

ARIZONA BB-39 is one of history's most celebrated Battleships - and is especially remembered as the ship sunk in Pearl Harbor by the Japanese December 7, 1941. 1,177 sailors and Marines lost their lives aboard the ship; 335 survived and lived to tell of the Horrors.

The Yeoman of this Website takes great pride in awarding the '
Special Memorial Website Award' to this notable Website, and he feels this Website is, by far, one of the BEST he's seen of a Military Memorial Website (and he operates three!). I stand all amazed at what you have accomplished, to keep the Memory Alive for those lost in ARIZONA. It also is a lasting Tribute to those who survived this tragedy, and serves to remind everyone who visits, what can happen again if we let down our guard. Terrorism is on the loose and could be an even darker enemy. Thanks so much for what you do here, and God Bless all those men who served in ARIZONA, the living and the dead.

Learn about this incredible and intrepid crew that refused to let the LAFFEY die but fought against insurmountable odds to keep their ship afloat after several Kami-kazis struck the ship. A phenomenal Ship and a relentless Crew that should be honored in this way. Willard Camp #154 - An excellent History Website created by the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, to keep the Memory of those of Camp #154, whcih was established by the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) to perpuate the memory of the sacrifices of Union soldiers and sailors during the Civil War. It is a national organization composed of the male direct descendants of Union soldiers and Sailors, has been awarded Award #20, on 26 December 2011, a Numbered Award, signifying no other Website will ever possess this number, and this Website wishes to remember all those who served in all the Wars of this Nation. The U.S.S. ARIZONA BB-39 is one of history's most celebrated Battleships - and is especially remembered as the ship sunk in Pearl Harbor by the Japanese December 7, 1941. 1,177 sailors and Marines lost their lives aboard the ship; 335 survived and lived to tell of the Horrors.

The Yeoman of this Website takes great pride in awarding the 'BIG 'E' HONNOR BANNER' to this notable Website, and he feels this Website is, by far, one of the BEST he's seen of a Military Memorial Website (and he operates three!). I stand all amazed at what you have accomplished, to keep the Memory Alive for those lost in ARIZONA. It also is a lasting Tribute to those who survived this tragedy, and serves to remind everyone who visits, what can happen again if we let down our guard. Terrorism is on the loose and could be an even darker enemy. Thanks so much for what you do here, and God Bless all those men who served in ARIZONA, the living and the dead.
